Gr3 high contrast B&W on Queen street
Today, I only had Gr3 with me. I set the camera to high contrast B&W mode. The photos are super high contrast and grainy. A Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama, is well-known for taking high-contrast BW photos. The camera I used today was a digital camera, but Ricoh has a really good build in high-contrast B&W mode. I set the camera to manual mode, and I fixed the iso to 400, because I was trying to simulate a film camera. The weather was not too bad, so iso 400 is enough to shoot. I focused on people’s feet today as another inspiration from Bill Cunningham. He used to take a lot of photos of feet as a faction photographer. It was experimental for me to combine these two people.
